Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Fresh lemon juice about 4-5 lemons
  • ¼ cup Fresh basil leaves chopped

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a small saucepan, combine water and sugar. Heat over medium heat until the sugar dissolves completely. Remove from heat and let it cool.
  2. 2. In a blender, combine the cooled sugar syrup, lemon juice, and basil leaves. Blend until smooth.
  3. 3. Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container. Freeze for at least 1 hour or until firm.
  4. 4. Before serving, let the sorbet sit at room temperature for a few minutes to soften slightly. Scoop and serve.
