Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a baking pan.
In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the lemon zest.
Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt; stir into the batter alternately with the milk.
Pour batter into the prepared pan.
