Main Ingredients
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 packet unflavored gelatin
- 2 tablespoon cold water
1. In a small bowl, sprinkle the gelatin over the cold water and let it sit for 5 minutes.
2. In a saucepan, combine the heavy cream, milk, and sugar. Heat over medium heat until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is hot, but not boiling.
3. Remove from heat and stir in the gelatin mixture until completely dissolved.
4. Stir in the lemon zest and vanilla extract.
5. Pour the mixture into ramekins and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until set.
6. Serve chilled, optionally garnished with fresh berries or mint leaves.
