Ingredients

  • 12 oz Pasta
  • 1 cup Basil leaves
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • ¼ cup Pine nuts
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1 Lemon, zested and juiced
  • ½ cup Olive oil
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. 2. In a blender, combine basil leaves, Parmesan cheese, pine nuts, garlic, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Blend until smooth.
  3. 3. Slowly add olive oil to the blender while blending until the mixture is well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. 4. Toss the cooked pasta with the lemon pesto sauce until evenly coated.
  5. 5. Serve immediately and enjoy!
