Ingredients

  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon zest

Instructions 

  1. In a saucepan, combine water and sugar. Heat until sugar is dissolved.
  2. Remove from heat and let it cool.
  3. Add lemon juice and zest to the cooled syrup.
  4. Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container and freeze for at least 4 hours.
  5. Stir the mixture every hour to break up ice crystals.
