Ingredients

  • 12 oz spaghetti
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, zested and juiced
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. 2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, cook until fragrant.
  3. 3. Add shrimp to the skillet, season with salt and pepper. Cook until pink and opaque.
  4. 4. Add the cooked spaghetti, lemon zest, and lemon juice to the skillet. Toss to combine.
  5. 5. Stir in chopped parsley. Adjust seasoning if needed. Serve immediately.
