Main Ingredients
- 2 cups Elbow Macaroni
- 4 tablespoon Butter
- 4 tablespoon All-purpose Flour
- 2 cups Milk
- 2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- to taste Salt
- to taste Black Pepper
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Cook the macaroni according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for about 1 minute.
Gradually whisk in the milk, and cook until the mixture thickens and bubbles.
Remove from heat and stir in the cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
Combine the cheese sauce with the cooked macaroni and mix well.
Transfer to a baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes, until golden and bubbly.
