Main Ingredients
- 2 cups Heavy Cream
- 1 cup Whole Milk
- ¾ cup Sugar
- 2 tablespoon Matcha Green Tea Powder
- 4 large Egg Yolks
Whisk the egg yolks and sugar together until pale and thick.
Heat the milk in a saucepan until just simmering.
Slowly pour the hot milk into the egg mixture, whisking constantly.
Return the mixture to the saucepan and cook over low heat until thickened.
Remove from heat and stir in the matcha powder until well combined.
Let the mixture cool, then stir in the heavy cream.
Churn in an ice cream maker according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Freeze until firm before serving.
