Dough
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup warm water
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon dry yeast
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Filling
- 200 g ground beef
- ¼ cup chopped onion
- ¼ cup chopped green onions
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
1. Mix warm water, sugar, and dry yeast. Let it sit for 10 minutes.
2. In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Add yeast mixture and knead into a dough. Let it rise for 1 hour.
3. For the filling, mix ground beef, chopped onion, green onions, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, sugar, salt, and pepper.
4. Divide dough into 8 pieces. Flatten each piece, place a spoonful of filling in the center, and seal the edges.
5. Place buns in a steamer and steam for 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
