Ingredients

  • 8 slices bread
  • 4 tablespoons Nutella
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Maple syrup (optional)

Instructions 

  1. Spread Nutella on 4 slices of bread and top with the remaining slices to make sandwiches.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon.
  3. Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Dip each sandwich in the egg mixture, coating both sides.
  5. Cook sandwiches in the skillet until golden brown on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  6. Serve with maple syrup if desired.
