Main Ingredients
- 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1 unit Onion, chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 unit Red Bell Pepper, sliced
- 1.5 cups Paella Rice
- 3 cups Chicken Broth
- 1 pinch Saffron Threads
- 1 cup Frozen Peas
- 12 units Large Shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 8 units Mussels, cleaned
- 1 unit Lemon, cut into wedges
Heat olive oil in a paella pan over medium heat.
Add chopped onion and cook until translucent.
Stir in minced garlic and sliced red bell pepper, cook for a few minutes.
Add paella rice and cook, stirring, for 2 minutes.
Pour in chicken broth and saffron threads, bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes, without stirring.
Scatter frozen peas, shrimp, and mussels over the top, cover and cook for another 10 minutes.
Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes. Serve with lemon wedges.
