Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 cup Chopped Onion
  • 1 cup Chopped Tomatoes
  • 1 cup Chopped Bell Peppers
  • 2 cups Boiled and Mashed Potatoes
  • 1 cup Green Peas
  • 2 tablespoon Pav Bhaji Masala
  • 1 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • to taste Salt
  • 8 Pav (Bread Rolls)
  • 2 tablespoon Chopped Coriander Leaves
  • 1 Lemon cut into wedges

Instructions 

  1. Heat butter in a large pan. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  2. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn soft.
  3. Add chopped bell peppers and cook for another 5 minutes.
  4. Add boiled and mashed potatoes, green peas, pav bhaji masala, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well.
  5. Cook the mixture on low heat for 10-15 minutes, mashing occasionally with a potato masher.
  6. In a separate pan, toast the pav (bread rolls) with some butter until golden brown.
  7. Garnish the bhaji with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with the toasted pav and lemon wedges.
