  • 1 cup Peanut Butter
  • ½ cup Butter softened
  • ½ cup Granulated Sugar
  • ½ cup Brown Sugar packed
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 ¼ cups All-Purpose Flour
  • ½ teaspoon Baking Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Baking Soda
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the peanut butter, butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the egg.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until combined.
  6. Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on a baking sheet. Flatten each ball with a fork, making a criss-cross pattern.
  7. Bake for 10 minutes, or until edges are lightly browned.
  8. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
