Ingredients

  • 200 g Fresh ginger root peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 cup Rice vinegar
  • ½ cup Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt

Instructions 

  1. 1. Peel and thinly slice the ginger.
  2. 2. In a saucepan, combine rice vinegar, sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat.
  3. 3. Place ginger slices in a jar and pour the hot vinegar mixture over them.
  4. 4. Let it cool to room temperature, then cover and refrigerate for at least 24 hours before serving.
