Instructions
In a small bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water. Let stand until creamy, about 10 minutes.
In a large bowl, combine 3 ½ cups flour, olive oil, and salt. Stir in the yeast mixture.
Beat until smooth. Let rest for 5 minutes.
Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead until smooth and elastic, about 8 minutes. Let rest for 5 minutes.
Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C). Lightly oil a pizza pan or baking sheet.
Roll or pat dough into a round. Transfer to the prepared pan. Spread with desired toppings.
Bake in preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes, or until golden brown.
