Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 4 Portobello mushroom caps
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Balsamic vinegar
  • 4 Burger buns
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 4 slices Cheese (optional)
  • 4 leaves Lettuce
  • 1 Tomato, sliced

Instructions 

  1. 1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. 2. In a small bowl, mix olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
  3. 3. Brush the mixture onto both sides of the portobello mushroom caps. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. 4. Place the mushrooms on the grill, gill side down, and cook for about 5-7 minutes per side, until tender.
  5. 5. If using cheese, add a slice to each mushroom cap during the last minute of cooking to melt.
  6. 6. Toast the burger buns on the grill for a minute or two until lightly browned.
  7. 7. Assemble the burgers with lettuce, tomato, and any other desired toppings.
