  • 4 cups Hash Browns frozen or fresh
  • 1 medium Onion chopped
  • 4 cups Chicken Broth
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese shredded
  • 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper to taste

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, sauté the chopped onion until translucent.
  2. 2. Add the hash browns and chicken broth to the pot. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
  3. 3. Stir in the milk, shredded cheddar cheese, salt, and black pepper. Cook until the cheese is melted and the soup is heated through.
