Main Ingredients
- 400 g spaghetti
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 6 fillets anchovies chopped
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 cup kalamata olives pitted and halved
- 2 tablespoon capers drained
- 1 can crushed tomatoes 28 oz
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon dried basil
- to taste Salt and pepper
- ¼ cup fresh parsley chopped
1. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic, anchovies, and red pepper flakes. Cook until garlic is fragrant.
3. Add olives, capers, and crushed tomatoes. Stir in oregano and basil. Simmer for 15 minutes.
4. Toss the cooked spaghetti with the sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
5. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
