Ingredients

  • 1 unit Pie Crust pre-made or homemade
  • 1 cup Fresh Spinach chopped
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese Gruyere or Swiss
  • 4 unit Eggs beaten
  • 1 cup Milk whole or 2%
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Black Pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon Nutmeg optional

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place the pie crust in a pie dish and set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the beaten eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
  4. Spread the chopped spinach evenly over the pie crust.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the spinach.
  6. Pour the egg mixture over the spinach and cheese.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the quiche is set and golden brown on top.
  8. Let the quiche cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
