Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 whole Turkey 12-14 pounds
  • 1 cup Butter melted
  • 2 tablespoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Black Pepper freshly ground
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 tablespoon Onion Powder
  • 1 tablespoon Paprika

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Remove the turkey giblets and pat the turkey dry with paper towels.
  3. Brush the turkey with melted butter and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
  4. Place the turkey in a roasting pan and cover loosely with aluminum foil.
  5. Roast the turkey for about 3 to 4 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  6. Baste the turkey every 30 minutes with the pan juices.
  7. Remove the foil during the last 30 minutes of cooking to allow the skin to brown.
  8. Let the turkey rest for 20-30 minutes before carving.
