  2. Trim and halve Brussels sprouts.
  3. Toss with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread on a baking sheet.
  5. Roast for 25 minutes, shaking the pan halfway through.
  6. Drizzle with balsamic vinegar if using.
