  • 1 loaf French bread
  • 1 head garlic
  • ½ cup butter softened
  • 1 tablespoon parsley chopped
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut the top off the garlic head, drizzle with olive oil, wrap in foil, and roast for 30 minutes.
  3. Let the garlic cool, then squeeze the cloves into a bowl and mash.
  4. Mix the mashed garlic with softened butter, parsley, and salt.
  5. Slice the French bread loaf in half lengthwise and spread the garlic butter mixture evenly on both halves.
  6. Place the bread on a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes until golden and crispy.
  7. Slice and serve warm.
