Ingredients

  • 3 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Warm water
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoon Fresh rosemary, chopped

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt.
  2. 2. Dissolve yeast in warm water and let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
  3. 3. Add yeast mixture and olive oil to the flour mixture. Stir until a dough forms.
  4. 4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes, until smooth and elastic.
  5. 5. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  6. 6. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  7. 7. Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf. Place on a baking sheet.
  8. 8. Sprinkle the top with chopped rosemary and bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
