Runza Casserole Recipe
A comforting casserole inspired by the classic Runza sandwich, filled with beef, cabbage, and cheese.

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 4 cups shredded cabbage
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups shredded cheese
- 2 cans crescent roll dough
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a skillet, cook ground beef and onion over medium heat until beef is browned and onion is tender.
Add shredded cabbage, salt, and pepper. Cook until cabbage is tender.
In a baking dish, unroll one can of crescent roll dough and press into the bottom to form a crust.
Spread the beef and cabbage mixture over the dough. Top with shredded cheese.
Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and place over the cheese to form a top crust.
Bake in preheated oven for 20-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
