Ingredients

  • 1 sheet Puff pastry thawed if frozen
  • 4 fillets Salmon skinless
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 egg Egg beaten, for egg wash
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper freshly ground

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface. Cut into 4 equal pieces.
  3. Place a salmon fillet in the center of each pastry piece. Spread a thin layer of Dijon mustard on each fillet. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Fold the pastry over the salmon, sealing the edges. Place the parcels seam-side down on the baking sheet.
  5. Brush the tops with beaten egg. Bake for 25 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown.
  6. Let rest for a few minutes before serving.
