- 1 cup unsalted butter softened
- ½ cup sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Gradually add the flour and salt, mixing until the dough comes together.
Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to about ¼ inch thick.
Cut into desired shapes using a cookie cutter and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
Let cool on a wire rack before serving.
