Slow Cooker Ham and Beans

Main Ingredients
- 1 lb dried beans any variety
- 1 lb ham hock
- 1 onion chopped
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 6 cups water
- 1 teaspoon salt to taste
Rinse and sort the beans.
Place beans, ham hock, onion, garlic, and black pepper in the slow cooker.
Add water and stir to combine.
Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until beans are tender.
Remove ham hock, shred the meat, and return it to the slow cooker.
Season with salt to taste before serving.
