Instructions
Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
Add the diced onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.
Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
Stir in the tomato sauce and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Add the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
Add the fideos and cook until tender, about 10 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve hot with lime wedges and chopped cilantro.
