Main Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
- 0.5 teaspoon onion powder
- 0.25 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon butter
Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
Dredge the chicken in flour.
Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and brown the chicken on both sides.
Remove chicken and set aside.
In the same skillet, add butter and remaining flour to make a roux.
Slowly add chicken broth and milk, stirring constantly until thickened.
Return chicken to the skillet, cover, and simmer for 30 minutes.
