- 1 whole Chicken cut into pieces
- 2 cups Buttermilk
- 2 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon Paprika
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Onion powder
- 1 quart Vegetable oil for frying
1. Soak chicken pieces in buttermilk for at least 1 hour.
2. In a large bowl, mix flour, paprika, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
3. Heat oil in a deep fryer to 350°F (175°C).
4. Dredge chicken pieces in the flour mixture, coating well.
5. Fry chicken in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 15 minutes per batch.
6. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
