- 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 0.5 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 0.5 cup granulated sugar
- 0.5 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
In another bowl, combine the applesauce, sugar, oil, eggs, and vanilla extract.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
Bake for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
