Main Ingredients
- 4 green bell peppers tops cut off and seeds removed
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheese optional
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, cooked rice, tomato sauce, salt, and black pepper.
Stuff the green peppers with the beef mixture and place them in a baking dish.
Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes.
If using cheese, sprinkle it on top of the peppers during the last 10 minutes of baking.
Serve hot.
