Instructions
1. Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a large pot.
2. Remove from heat and add tea bags. Let steep for 5-7 minutes.
3. Remove tea bags and stir in sugar until dissolved.
4. Add baking soda if using, then add remaining 4 cups of cold water.
5. Pour into a pitcher and refrigerate until chilled. Serve over ice.
