Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 block firm tofu pressed and crumbled
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 0.5 cup diced tomatoes
  • 0.25 cup chopped cilantro
  • 0.25 cup diced red onion
  • Lime wedges for serving

Instructions 

  1. Press the tofu to remove excess water, then crumble it into a bowl.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  3. Add crumbled tofu to the pan and cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Add chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 5 minutes.
  5. Warm the tortillas in a separate pan or microwave.
  6. Assemble the tacos by placing tofu mixture on the tortillas, then topping with lettuce, tomatoes, cilantro, and red onion.
  7. Serve with lime wedges.
