Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 medium Onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 800 g Canned tomatoes
  • 2 cups Vegetable broth
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • ¼ cup Heavy cream

Instructions 

  1. Heat olive oil in a pot over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onion and cook until translucent.
  3. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  4. Add canned tomatoes, vegetable broth, salt, pepper, and sugar. Bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
  6. Blend the soup until smooth using a blender.
  7. Return the soup to the pot, stir in heavy cream, and heat through.
  8. Serve hot.
