- 10 oz tortilla chips
- 2 cups salsa red or green
- ½ cup crumbled queso fresco
- ¼ cup sour cream
- 1 avocado, sliced
- ¼ cup chopped cilantro
- 2 fried eggs optional
1. Heat the salsa in a frying pan over medium heat until it starts to simmer.
2. Add the tortilla chips and stir to coat them in the salsa. Cook for about 5 minutes until the chips are softened.
3. Serve the chilaquiles on plates and top with crumbled queso fresco, sour cream, avocado slices, chopped cilantro, and fried eggs if using.
