Turkey a la King
A creamy, comforting dish made with leftover turkey.

Main Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked turkey, diced
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 tablespoon butter
- 2 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- to taste salt and pepper
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add chopped onion and sliced mushrooms. Cook until soft.
Stir in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes.
Gradually add chicken broth, stirring constantly until thickened.
Add heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
Stir in cooked turkey and frozen peas. Cook until heated through.
Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve over rice or toast.
