Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 whole turkey carcass
  • 2 whole carrots chopped
  • 2 stalks celery chopped
  • 1 whole onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 8 cups water
  • 1 whole bay leaf
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup cooked rice or noodles optional

Instructions 

  1. Place the turkey carcass in a large pot.
  2. Add carrots, celery, onion, garlic, and water.
  3. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 2 hours.
  4. Remove the carcass and bay leaf.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Add cooked rice or noodles if desired.
