Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
  • 1 can kidney beans, drained and rinsed (15 oz)
  • 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed (15 oz)
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, cook the ground turkey over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  2. 2. Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the pot. Cook until the onion is translucent.
  3. 3. Stir in the diced tomatoes, kidney beans, black beans, and chicken broth.
  4. 4. Add the chili powder, ground cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to combine.
  5. 5. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. 6. Serve hot, garnished with your favorite toppings like shredded cheese, sour cream, or chopped cilantro.
