Ingredients

  • 1 whole Turkey 10-12 pounds
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper freshly ground
  • 2 tablespoon Butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Pat the turkey dry with paper towels.
  3. Rub the turkey with olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Place the turkey in a roasting pan.
  5. Brush the turkey with melted butter and sprinkle with garlic powder and onion powder.
  6. Roast the turkey in the preheated oven for about 3 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  7. Let the turkey rest for 20 minutes before carving.
