- 4 large Portobello mushrooms cleaned and sliced
- ¼ cup Soy sauce
- ¼ cup Maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon Liquid smoke
- 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Onion powder
- ½ teaspoon Black pepper
Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, maple syrup, liquid smoke, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
Add the sliced portobello mushrooms to the bowl and toss to coat evenly. Let it marinate for at least 10 minutes.
Arrange the marinated mushroom slices on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the mushrooms are dry and chewy.
Remove from the oven and let cool completely before enjoying.
