Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Turkey
  • 1 medium Onion, diced
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 cans Great Northern Beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can Green Chilies, diced
  • 4 cups Chicken Broth
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
  • ½ teaspoon Chili Powder
  • ¼ teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
  • to taste Salt and Pepper
  • ½ cup Sour Cream for serving
  • ¼ cup Cilantro, chopped for garnish

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, cook the ground turkey over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  2. 2. Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the pot. Cook until the onion is translucent.
  3. 3. Stir in the beans, green chilies, chicken broth, cumin, oregano, chili powder, and cayenne pepper. Bring to a boil.
  4. 4. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. 5. Serve hot, topped with a dollop of sour cream and a sprinkle of chopped cilantro.
