- 1 loaf French bread cut into cubes
- 6 eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 3 apples peeled, cored, and sliced
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup butter melted
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease a baking dish and place the cubed French bread in it.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
Pour the egg mixture over the bread cubes, making sure all pieces are soaked.
Arrange the apple slices on top of the bread mixture.
Sprinkle the brown sugar over the apples and drizzle the melted butter on top.
Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the apples are tender.
Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
