  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 2 eggs
  • ¼ cup melted butter

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix the buttermilk, eggs, and melted butter.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
