Instructions 

  1. 1. Crack the eggs into a bowl, add a pinch of salt, and whisk until well combined.
  2. 2. Heat the butter in a non-stick skillet over medium heat until melted and foamy.
  3. 3. Pour the eggs into the skillet and let them sit for a few seconds without stirring.
  4. 4. Using a spatula, gently stir the eggs, pushing them from the edges towards the center.
  5. 5. When the eggs are mostly set but still slightly runny on top, fold one side of the omelette over the other.
  6. 6. Slide the omelette onto a plate, season with pepper, and serve immediately.
