A classic Italian lasagna recipe with layers of pasta, meat sauce, and cheese.

- 12 pieces Lasagna Noodles
- 1 pound Ground Beef
- 24 ounces Marinara Sauce
- 15 ounces Ricotta Cheese
- 2 cups Mozzarella Cheese shredded
- ½ cup Parmesan Cheese grated
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
Add marinara sauce to the beef. Simmer for 10 minutes.
In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper.
In a baking dish, spread a layer of meat sauce. Add a layer of noodles, then a layer of the cheese mixture. Repeat layers, ending with a layer of meat sauce.
Top with remaining mozzarella cheese.
Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 25 minutes, until cheese is bubbly and golden.
Let lasagna rest for 10 minutes before serving.
