In a large mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, sugar, and vegetable oil. Beat in the eggs one at a time.
In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the pumpkin mixture, mixing until just combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
Bake for about 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
